Abstract EN

As a commemorative event, the corona pandemic contributes to the formation of individual and collective representations and to awakening memories of earlier epidemiological experiences.

therefore, this paper deals with three aspects of the relationship between memory and epidemic.

the first aspect concerns the corona event, which was able to recall the pre-memory, in which collective experiences of some societies that emerged in corona-like circumstances are preserved.

the second aspect deals with living memory as a global memory of the corona pandemic, which is still under construction.

a part of it may, in the course of time, turn into a post-memory, the contents of which could, however, be threatened by future oblivion.

this forms the third aspect.
