The research aimed to identify: the proactive confrontation of educational counselors in Diyala governorate, and the significance of the difference in the proactive confrontation of educational counselors in Diyala governorate according to the gender variable (male/female), and the significance of the difference in the confrontation in Diyala governorate for educational counselors according to the service variable (less than 6 years) (6 years - or more).
The scale consisted of (14) items, and its characteristics were confirmed, as the scale was applied to a sample of (200) male and female counsellors, who were chosen in a cluster random manner.
In the proactive confrontation according to the variable of sex, and there are no statistically significant differences in the proactive confrontation according to the variable of service (less than 6 years) (6 years and more).
In light of the results, the researcher presented a number of recommendations and suggestions.
