Industrial progress factors are those considerations that are studied and taken into account in every study on the geography of industry.

the purpose of establishing any industrial project anywhere must be a reasonable measure of economic profitability.

however, technological and technological progress has reduced the impact of these factors considerations.

there have been fundamental changes due to the technological progress, which affected the industrial sites and the requirements of selecting the optimal location, which this research attempts to address by relying on the scientific analysis method for each factor of classical industrial settlement, the effect of the technological progress factor in reducing the impact of these factors, the study showed that the technological development factor in all fields had a great role in reducing the factors of industrial settlement in signing industrial projects.
