Abstract EN

What distinguishes Corona virus is that it targeted humanity as a whole, and invaded the world and introduced it into a new era.

Since the declaration of Corona as( pandemic) by World Health Organization, stakeholders in sociology have sought to understand the epidemic as a social phenomenon and to analyze its potential repercussions on individuals and groups.

Iraqi society witnessed the Corona crisis, which the whole world witnessed, and forced everyone to admit The fragility of their health systems and preventive procedures.

And it placed them in front of the continuation of the movement within the social system, And it resulted in a functional and structural defect on the procession of this system.

It must be recognized that facing Corona epidemic represents one of the unique challenges for our society, In order to demonstrate the broad impact of this epidemic, This required conducting a study that includes a field aspect(Societal reality during the Corona crisis / field study on Anbar University's elites).

In order to diagnose the most prominent social and psychological changes that accompanied the epidemic, and how we can face them with limited Health, economic and political Possibilities.

The researcher relied on a sample consisting of (100) respondents from holders of academic titles by the method of non-probability (intentional) sampling distributed among humanitarian and scientific departments of different faculties, and the questionnaire tool was adopted as a tool for data collection, And It is considered as field, descriptive and analytical studies.

The study relied on the social survey methodology and reached the following results: • The Corona crisis and its repercussions have created structural effects in the social construction by reformulating social and family relations and changing the patterns of life and behavior.
