The study aims to identify the quality level of engineering topics in mathematical books for the intermediate stage according to international standards.

the study questions are as follows: 1-what are the national council's engineering standards for teachers of mathematics that must be available in basic education's mathematics text-books, NCTM? 2-to what extent are these standards available in engineering subjects in mathematical books for grades from the first to the third intermediate? the limits of this study are limited to intermediate school mathematics books, first to third grades in Iraq for the academic year 2000-2021, where the process of analyzing engineering subjects is carried out only according to the standards of the national council for teachers of mathematics (NCTM).

the study tool was prepared from the form designed by the researcher to collect data and monitor the rates of recurrence of phenomena in the articles whose content he analyzes.

it was presented to the arbitrators to indicate the validity of its paragraphs.

the study included the conclusions reached by the researcher's suggestions and recommendations.
