The phenomenology of the body in Merleau-Ponty took a conceptual framework related to our perception of the things around us, and it is associated with the body’s work as it is considered the root for gaining knowledge about and recognizing the world.

this philosophical contribution is reflected in the scholars and professionals of architecture, as it empowers them to understand the body’s work, as a facade behind which the mind and the world stand; it guides them changing their look at architectural or creative works as to consider them as a start for a continuous process of exploration or communication with the world.
