The study aimed to identify the effect of administrative development on improving the job performance of workers in the Palestinian Ministry of Interior and National Security (the civilian side) in Gaza Strip.
To achieve the objectives of the study, the study followed the descriptive and analytical approach.
Moreover, the main study instrument was the questionnaire, as the study sample reached (237) employees from the supervisory groups from the head of the division and above, and the data were analyzed through the Statistical Analysis software (SPSS), and the results of the analysis were made to confirm the validity of the hypotheses of this study.
It was found that there is an impact of administrative development in its dimensions (training, incentives and rewards system, organizational loyalty, and performance evaluation).
Positive statistically significant at the level of significance (0.05≥α) in improving the job performance of employees in the Ministry of Interior and National Security, where the total axis of administrative development came with a relative weight of (62.08%), and the axis of improving job performance came with a relative weight of (69 %).
However, there are no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05 0.0α) between the average respondents due to demographic variables.
Accordingly, the researcher recommended working to increase interest in administrative development procedures and improve performance by all, on top of the senior management in the Ministry of Interior and National Security, the civil side, and the provision of the necessary resources for the implementation of the developmental and improvement activities and programs for the Ministry’s employees.
