This research deals with the study of fraud in the marriage contract and its negative effects.

this study consisted of several sections.

every section of the study included several aspects.

the researcher reached to some results and recommendations that were recorded in the conclusion of the research.

the most important of which were: the marriage contract is one of the sacred contracts, and it is a worship by which the servant draws closer to god in addition to the response to the common sense and instinct that god almighty has placed in the human soul.

his sanctity is violated and he deviates from the goals sought by the sacred law by legislating marriage and urging it.

therefore, we recommend that men and women who are about to marry should respect the sanctity of this contract by not resorting to one of them to follow fraudulent means for the purpose of concealing his faults from the other.
