The aim of the research is to identify the level of productive desire in mathematics among tenth grade students in the city of Dohuk according to the gender variable.

A random sample was chosen from the tenth grade students, who were (200), consisting of (100) females and (100) males .The researchers prepared a mathematical desire production tool consisting of (38) paragraphs, and the apparent validity of the tool was verified by (85 %).With the approval of the opinions of professors specialized in educational and psychological sciences, the reliability coefficient was by the re-test method (0.82), and the data were analyzed using a one-sample and two independent t-test and Pearson's relationship.

showed the results obtained That the research sample does not have a productive desire in mathematics, and that there are statistically significant differences between the averages of productive mathematical desire between the students of the research sample and the students of the research sample in favor of females in light of this, the researchers came up with a set of recommendations and proposals for future research to complete this research.
