Abstract EN
The agreements between Turkey and Hungary opened the way for Hungarian workers to work in Turkey, which is particularly important given Turkey's aim for rebuilding and the utilization of trained Hungarian workers in that process.
However, because of the significant number of Hungarian workers in Turkey, a number of issues arose, which Hungary attempted to resolve in order to sustain the presence of Hungarian workers in Turkey.
Low wages, late payments, an inadequate quality of living, non-renewal of contracts, and deportation are just a few of the problems that Hungarian workers endure.
Turkey, on the other hand, sought to get rid of the workers it didn't need, especially given the current economic situation, and replace them with Turkish workers, as a result, discussions were formerly the only option for the presence of its workers in Turkey, but all of Hungary's obligations were in vain.
