In her article: “An Interpretation of “The Death of the Author” (1967): In an Epistemological Critical Approach to Roland Barthe's Thesis,” the Syrian researcher Manal Ismail Merhi sheds light on the premises of the author's death theory as presented by Roland Barthes, as she approaches it with analysis and criticism.
