The science of jurisprudence (Usul Fiqh) is considered the basic tool for the jurist to extract the legal ruling from the partial text, through the rules included in this science, which are mostly linguistic in nature and are established from the methods of the Arabic language and its requirements, hence the importance of this paper in explaining the role and importance of this science in formulating The legal rule, and its understanding according to the rules laid down by scholars of the principles of Islamic jurisprudence.
