Abstract EN

The aim of the current research is to verify the effectiveness of a proposed unit in social studies based on the dimensions of future education to develop reflective thinking skills and awareness of future issues for tenth grade students.

to achieve this, the following materials and tools were prepared : a list of the dimensions of future education, as well as a list of reflective thinking skills, and a list of future issues.

in light of this, a proposed unit of study and a guide for the teacher was prepared in light of the dimensions of future education, and then a test of reflective thinking skills, and a measure of awareness were prepared.

with regard to future issues, the research experiment was applied to a group of tenth grade students.

the research experiment was applied to a group of tenth grade students, where the research group was divided into two groups, the experimental group numbering (33) female students, and the control group numbering (33) female students.

the results revealed a great effectiveness of the proposed unit in the light of the dimensions of future education in the post application to test reflective thinking skills, as well as in the post application to test the scale of awareness of future issues in favor of the experimental group.
