In this preliminary research to prepare for the doctorate, we deal with the issue of diplomatic protection for Emirati investors abroad, through a study in which we address the subject through three basic demands.

While we dealt in the second requirement with the concept of diplomatic protection and the legal system for it, as well as the conditions for conducting diplomatic protection, as for the third requirement, we devoted it to studying the controversy that arose about the survival of diplomatic protection, and the extent of its effectiveness in achieving the goal of protecting Emirati investors between supporters and opponents, and we presented the arguments of both groups.

In this study, we have adopted the analytical approach because of the usefulness of this approach that can be achieved by demonstrating the effectiveness of this diplomatic system in achieving the goal of protecting Emirati investors abroad.

In this research, we did not neglect to refer to the researcher’s opinion every time it could be a vision that could contribute to achieving the desired goal behind extending the cover of diplomatic protection to include Emirati investors abroad.
