Jordan has strong and multiple links with Iraq، geographically، historically، culturally and socially، as well as the Arab dimension.

With the start of military actions against Iraq by the United States of America and its allies under the pretext of expelling Iraq from Kuwait، which did not differentiate between military and civilian targets، with the high level of destruction and the emergence of destructive effects، Jordan took an honorable position، government and people، to support Iraq by its official decisions and statements through the media and newspapers to avoid war and maintain the security of the region in general and the Arab Gulf region in particular.
