The research aimed to clarify the issue of swearing by life, through analyzing and authentication it between linguists, grammarians, and jurists, and to clarify the integration of the three fields in looking at this issue, and to syntactic and semantic distinguish between its many forms.

according to the descriptive method.

the research came in three sections dealt with swearing by life : the first in language lexicons, the second in syntax, and the third in jurisprudence (Fiqh).

after discussing this intersectional issue, the research concluded that there are multiple points of view in it among the three fields, so they converged a lot and diverged a little, this issue was one of the issues in which listening predominated over analogy rules in language and syntax, and many forms appeared in it that varied in usage, meaning, syntax, and jurisprudence (Fiqh).
