Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify the level of both psychological flow and career performance among academics who occupy administrative positions at Yarmouk university and Jadara university in Jordan, and to reveal the predictive ability of psychological flow in their job performance, on a sample that consisted of (100) faculty members who occupy administrative positions.

in order to achieve the purposes of the study, two valid and reliable measures were used, namely: the psychological flow scale and the career performance scale.

the results of the study showed that the level of both psychological flow and job performance among academics who occupy administrative positions at Yarmouk university and Jadara university was high, and that the psychological flow contributes to a high percentage to form the career performance behavior of administrative academics, especially in the responsibilities of the administrative field.

the study concluded with a set of recommendations, the most important of which are: defining legislation and instructions related to caring about and qualifying the academics in the field of comprehensive quality control for the development of faculty members administratively along with their academic duties.
