Abstract EN
The research depends on the historical, descriptive and analytical approach.
the research problem is: has the city of Baghdad changed over time? and why? does this have an impact on the urban fabric of the city? what are the factors that contributed to the change of architecture of the city? the research has reached a number of conclusions, the most important of which is the change in the elements of the urban landscape of the city of Baghdad in its early stages, specifically in the fifties, which is one of the stages of urban development in which the emergence of high-rise buildings with multiple floors of modernity continued its march in the sixties and seventies, which represent the product of Iraq's rugged architecture.
