Abstract EN

The aim of the current research is to determine the story writing skills (story idea, story environment, story characters) appropriate for students of the Arabic language departments from the colleges of education, the middle Euphrates groups.

research objectives the researcher used the descriptive approach, and the researcher adopted the (al-Masoudi, 2022) scale, and applied it to a sample of (198) male and female students from the Arabic language departments in the fourth stage of the faculties of education in the universities of the middle Euphrates for the academic year 2021 / 2022 AD, and to verify the objectives of the study.

the research the arithmetic averages, and standard deviations, were calculated for the level of ability of students of the Arabic language departments in the fourth stage in the faculties of education, the research sample from each of the story writing skills, and the “T” test was used for one sample to test the significance of the differences between the means of the level of the research sample.
