The current research aims to know : (the development of educational activities in the book of social studies of the primary stage in the light of the principles of active learning), and the researcher has relied on the descriptive analytical approach as it is suitable for the research procedures.

the social book for the fifth grade of primary school has 109 activities, and to collect the information, the researcher has prepared a questionnaire that includes the principles of active learning.

in the social books for the fifth grade of primary school, as well as the lack of emphasis on the following principles : (communication, cooperation and interaction between students, taking into account individual differences and aspects of content), as well as it has found through the results of the research that the principle of the accurate bug is the most recurring among all the fields by (886) recurrence, i.e.

(31%), followed by the principle of cooperation and interaction between students at the rate of (892) repetition, i.e.

(27,5%), and the principle of taking into account individual differences and content aspects by (782), or (24%), the principle of communication has achieved (569), or (17.5%), and in light of the results of the research, the researcher has reached a set of conclusions, recommendations and suggestions.
