After the fall of the Almohad state, the Islamic Maghreb experienced a political deterioration where security and stability retreated, in light of the many wars and disputes between the three countries that emerged after it.

this had an effect on society and its workforce, especially farmers and agriculture where agricultural lands were expropriated and farmers left their lands.

farmers were brutally exploited to pay royalties to cover state expenditures and military recruitment.

these consequences led to the change of the economic structure in certain regions, decline in agricultural production and the deterioration of agricultural activity due to the deterioration of the political situation.
