Abstract EN

Our museological study relevant to the inventory of the movable material products of the period of the Emir Abd-el-Kader is, in fact, part of the descriptive perspective of the development of the Algerian State and of its cities as archaeological sites that are well or badly preserved, but that represent the civilizational aspects of that period.

henceforth, defining its general or detailed material production (archaeological articles, manuscripts, historical documents, archives…) and defining its period, its techniques of production and its archaeological signification allows us to well know the multiple sources of this archaeological movable and consequently, well know the different historical changes within the same historical period.

to this end, this study implies inevitably a systemic inventory of this heritage, which exists in Algeria or that is preserved in Syria and Istanbul or that is deposited at the level of the European museums, libraries and archives, which might help us to know the general order of the elements in their original sites so that we could establish an archaeological listing of the raw material for any academic writing about this period
