Abstract EN

The Iraqi cities have great historical importance because of the role these cities have played throughout the ages, and the city of Mosul is one of these important cities due to its civilized facade overlooking the northern side of Iraq.

However, our research was limited to the social and urban life of this city from the point of view of travelers and countrymen.

Their writings about it were something of a great incentive that prompted us to do so.

The city contained important urban landmarks, as well as the customs and traditions that distinguished it from other cities due to its contact with different cultures.
