Abstract EN

The study aimed to find out the level of influence of social media sites on academic achievement from the perspective of teachers, as well as to reveal differences in the level of influence in terms of gender.

the study sample consisted of (56) professors, the two researchers used a questionnaire prepared by Racha Mohammed Awad (2013), and after the analysis using the statistical program (SPSS), we achieved the results following: -the level of influence of social media sites on academic achievement from the perspective of teachers is high, the total result of negative effects on the study sample was (3.85), which is limited to a large degree of influence, while the arithmetic mean of positive effects score was (3.46), which is limited to an estimate of the average social media effect.
