Most of the Algerian museums suffer from weak display techniques, which led to the unwillingness to visit museums, and because of the traditional shows that are devoid of all means of entertainment, we notice a weakness in communicating the message and the purpose of the display, and for this, through this study we will try to address the display techniques that were adopted at the Tlemcen Museum of history and art, and their analysis in order to be able to identify the weaknesses and strengths in it, and to know the extent to which modern technologies are exploited in the display, which enables us to find solutions that ensure the development of designs for museum displays that achieve the response between the visitor’s behavior and his cognitive needs, the study focuses mainly on the search for the extent of Algerian museums interest in using new technologies, especially interactive displays, the importance of this type of displays in museums in general and Algerian museums in particular, and the extent of their impact on the process of attracting visitors and achieving the delivery of the message from the display.
