in the case of foreign trade, plaster stoppers were employed to plug the amphorae.

the study publishes sixteen imprinted plaster stoppers.

their designs had a Christian significances and symbols such as; crosses, Greek inscriptions, figural, and animal forms.

they are preserved in el Ashmonin Museum store in Mallawi city, Middle Egypt.

the study aims to publish this collection for the first time and to reveal the Christian symbols applied.

so, a descriptive and analytical methods of research are adopted.
