Abstract EN

The current research aimed at psychological resistance and emotional balance among mothers with special needs, and knowing the relationship between them, that psychological resistance and emotional balance are the two main concepts in the current research, and the term psychological resistance has been interpreted in the light of the theory (COBASA), and the concept of emotional balance has been interpretation in the light of Eric Erikson's theory.

after verifying the accuracy of the psychometric properties of the two research scales and its paragraphs, the two research scales were applied to the basic research sample, which amounted to (200), they were chosen by the stratified random method, and as a result, the scale became composed of (20) items to measure psychological resistance, and the emotional balance scale consisted of (20) paragraph, and the researcher verified the validity of its scale with two indicators: the apparent honesty by displaying the paragraphs of the scale with a questionnaire on (6) arbitrators in psychological counseling, psychological measurement and mental health, and with the construction sincerity index through the correlation of the degree of the paragraph with the total score, and the researcher verified the stability of the scale by: the test and re-testing, and the data were analyzed using the statistical bag for social sciences (SPSS) and the results showed the following : -1mothers of people with special needs are characterized by psychological resistance.
