The research was limited to some comparative jurisprudence issues related to the rulings on bariatric surgery, whether it was a matter of necessity and medication (which is the necessary plastic surgery) or as a way of improving, decorating and changing the character (which is cosmetic surgery).

Among the most important findings that I have reached through the research is that obesity is a serious scourge of society, and prevention is the best way to avoid this enemy, and that there are many causes that lead to obesity, whether they are in the form of food, drink, medications, genetic, social or psychological factors.

And that it is permissible to perform obesity surgery if it is as a treatment and medication, in addition to ways to prevent obesity, such as organizing food represented in therapeutic nutrition, exercising regularly, avoiding stress and staying away from everything that causes any psychological disorder.

Therefore, the researcher recommends intensive media campaigns; To raise awareness among citizens about the consequences of overweight and obesity, and for the state to intensify its efforts to put in place measures to change the environment that causes obesity and make healthy choices easier choices, and this includes placing restrictions on marketing, putting food labels, and making sure that children have access to healthy foods and physical activity.
