The current research aimed to identify (suggested criteria for the distance learning competencies of social teachers in secondary schools of the directorates of education in Baghdad governorate (Rusafa first, Rusafa second, Rusafa third, Karkh first, Karkh second, Karkh third as well as the educational channel in Baghdad governorate for the academic year).

(2020-2021) and the research sample consisted of (143) teachers, with (82) majoring in history and (61) in geography, they were selected from the original community of male and female teachers in the secondary schools of the directorates of education in Baghdad governorate (Rusafa first, Rusafa second, Rusafa third, first Karkh, second Karkh, third Karkh as well as the educational channel in Baghdad governorate, which numbered (1444) teachers and schools.

the validity and reliability of the scale.

the researcher used the statistical package (SPSS) to reach the required results in the research procedures, and the current research found that distance learning competencies are available for social teachers in the secondary stage and the educational channel at an average level.
