This research aims at investigating the impact of the strategy of the cards questions and hanging boards on the development of reading comprehension for the fourth grade students, and to achieve that the researcher chose in a deliberate way the school (ARYA) located in the directorate of education of the district of chamchal / sulaimaniyah, which includes three sections for the fourth grade and randomly selected division (a) to represent the first experimental group that studies reading material with the strategy of card questions and it includes (25) pupils, while section (c) represents the second experimental group that studies the subject of reading with the strategy of outstanding paintings and has (26) pupils while section (b) represents the controlling group that studies the same subject in the traditional way and has (26) pupils and thus the size of the sample becomes (77) pupils.
the researcher balanced among the research groups in the number of variables, and formulated the researcher behavioral goals and prepared the teaching plans necessary to teach the three groups: the first question was multiple choice, and the second question was the completion, and the third question was combining, and the experiment continued foe a full course of study (the first course) in which she used the appropriate statistical means for the research procedures and results, and the researcher reached the superiority of the students of the first and second experimental groups on the control group concerning the development of the reading comprehension.
