Young people have multiple and renewed needs, such as the need for security, recovery, freedom, participation, marriage, forming a family, work and other social, psychological and economic needs that must be obtained in order to lead a normal and stable life.

Algerian youth in particular live in a state of instability and fluctuation in attempts to obtain these needs, and accordingly this research paper comes in order to diagnose the reality of the needs of Algerian youth in light of the pandemic, and to try to identify the most important alternatives that would restore this important social group to its leading role in community development.
