The Qur’an is one of the most important things that called Arabs to study Arabic, reveal its origins, and collect its poetry and languages.

therefore, among the sciences that the exegete should be aware of, the sciences of Arabic, the science of grammar, the derivation of speech, the construction of the word, rhetoric of all kinds, and the readings.

with the readings, he cites them often, attributes them sometimes, neglects them at other times, directs them once, does not direct them again, and strengthens some of them over others, but his criterion in accepting and refuting the reading is not its correctness and its abnormality, rather it strengthens what fits a position, is consistent with a context, or is more eloquent, or measured, and he was not one of those who permitted martyrdom to quote the hadith of the prophet, and he used to quote a lot of araba poetry, and he did not see anything wrong with citing the poetry of some of the born and the poetry of those who did not know who said it.
