Abstract EN

The objective of this research is to identify the philosophical Sufiism in Yemen, its beliefs, how it is viewed by Muslim scholars, how it developed, and the factors that can contribute to its demise.

This research consists of an introduction, a preface and three sections.

The introduction gives a brief definition of Sufism and philosophical Sufism, and it talks about the Sufi ways in Yemen and the beginnings of its entry, and came the first topic in the definition from the philosophical Sufisim and the doctrine of Ibn Arabi, he talked about the most famous scholars and their efforts in combating the doctrine of Ibn Arabi and its figures.

The third topic came to stand on the factors of emergence, and the causes of the demise.

Then the research concluded with the results and recommendations; the most prominent results are: 1- The entry of philosophical Sufism(Sufism Ibn Arabi) into Yemen was associated with the emergence of the Apostolic state; especially the two Sultans: Al-Ashraf and Al-Nasser.

2- The assumption of the symbols of philosophical mysticism of religious authority (judiciary and fatwa) contributed to its spread in Yemen.

3- The position of Sunni scholars, such as al-Nashiri, Ibn Al-Mu'raq, Ibn Nur al-Din, ibn al-Khayyat, and others, was a fundamental factor in the decline of philosophical Sufism in Yemen.

Recommendations First: allocate a comprehensive scientific thesis on philosophical mysticism in Yemen, its roots, symbols, and beliefs, and study them thoroughly in order to get the benefit of this research.

Second: the allocation of a specific research on: the historical development of the doctrine of the Sultans of the Rasulids dynasty.

Third: Carrying out a research on the impact of esotericism in spreading philosophical sufiism in Yemen.
