Abstract EN

This study aimed at identifying the volume of smuggled fuels and its impact on the Palestinian treasury, as well as identifying the reasons for the spread of this phenomenon in addition to identifying the volume of revenues collected to the palestinian treasury from the fuel tax during the study period.

the results of the study indicated that there are large quantities of smuggled fuel entering the palestinian territories, which led to the depletion and deprivation of the palestinian treasury of hundreds of millions of dollar of revenues, and a conclusion was reached that there is an inverse relationship between smuggled fuel and treasury revenues.

simple linearity and the use of excel program to unpack and process financial data related to the palestinian treasury revenues, in addition to forecasting the value of smuggled fuel and its impact on the palestinian treasury, a mimic model.

in light of the results of the study, the researcher recommended the necessity of reconsidering the fuel stations located in the governorates of the west bank and the need to search for other sources to finance the palestinian treasury in addition to relying on fuel revenues.
