Abstract EN

Our current study came to evaluate the experience of child-friendly schools, as this experience is relatively recent compared to the history of the schooling process in the Iraqi educational institution.

The idea of this experiment is based on a set of educational, social and psychological principles, aiming to create a state of love, intimacy, and the desire to complete the academic journey as well as Love of learning and school, especially since the recent decades have witnessed a serious decline in the educational process and the rates of repetition and dropout resulting from the state of aversion to school, which can be considered in its traditional form a repellent to schooling 3221هـ 278 In (2011) child-friendly schools were established at the initiative of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) with the Iraqi Ministry of Education in order to create a school environment that contributes to attracting children according to a set of educational standards and requirements, and that the novelty of experience and the scarcity of studies that dealt with the subject of study We were prompted to study the evaluation of this experiment based on the criteria established for it.

The study found that child-friendly schools do not conform to the standards set for them.
