The research aims to answer the following questions: 1- Do the teachers of geography for the sixth grade literary have a technological ؟enlightenment 2-Do sixth-graders have a love of scientific curiosity؟ 3-Is there a correlation between the geographical enlightenment of the geographic teachers and the curiosity of their students؟ The researcher adopted a descriptive research methodology in her research, whereby the research community was identified for geography teachers who teach geography for the sixth grade literary in the preparatory schools of the General Directorate of Education in Baghdad / Rusafa 3, for the academic year (2019-2020) and then selected a sample of it consisting of (40) A teacher and a teacher, as well as choosing a sample of (200) male and female students.

As for research tools, the researcher bui The geographical enlightenment scale consisting of (55) items.

As for the second tool, it was a measure of curiosity.

The researcher adopted the scale prepared by (Al-Ani, 2013) due to its relevance to the Iraqi environment, which consisted of (45) items (positive and negative).

Processing statistical data by using appropriate statistical means, as the results showed that geography teachers in middle schools possess geographic enlightenment and that their students possess curiosity, in addition to a statistically significant correlational relationship between geographical enlightenment and curiosity, and in light of the research results, the researcher recommended a set of recommendations and proposals.
