Abstract EN

The current research aims to analyze the content of the general psychology book according to the skills of systemic thinking for the academic year (2020-2021).

To achieve the goal of the research, the researcher analyzed the content of the General Psychology book according to the skills of systemic thinking, where the researcher prepared an analysis tool consisting of (4) main skills and (12) sub-skills, and after presenting that tool to a group of experts and verifying its psychometric properties, it became the analysis tool Finished ready.

The content analysis of the General Psychology book included (270) pages.

In the analysis, the researcher relied on the idea unit, the analysis unit, and the census unit.

Its validity was confirmed by presenting it to a group of arbitrators and they confirmed its validity.

The analysis was calculated using the (Holisti) equation in agreement with external analysts and with the researcher herself.

After performing the statistical treatment of the data using frequencies and percentages, the researcher obtained the following results The General Psychology book was at a good level compared to the spoken ratio adopted by the researcher based on the opinions of experts, which amounted to (70%).

1.The skill of perceiving systemic relationships ranked first, as it obtained (173) recurrences with a percentage (44%).

2.The skill of systems analysis came in second place, as it obtained (91) recurrences with a percentage of (23%).

3.The skill of evaluating systems came in third place, as it got (79) recurrences with a percentage of (20%).

4.Theskill of installing systems came in fourth place, as it got (53) recurrences with a percentage of (13%).

In light of the results, the researcher recommended some recommendations.
