The current research aims to identify..
1-Mental imagination among gifted school students in Iraq.
2-The differences in mental imagination among gifted school students in Iraq according to the gender variable (males-females).
3-Creative thinking among gifted school students in Iraq 4-Differences in the creative thinking of gifted school students in Iraq according to the gender variable (males-females).
5-Correlational relationship between mental imagination and creative thinking among gifted school students in Iraq.
In order to achieve the objectives of the research, the researcher chose a proportional stratified random sample of gifted school students for the academic year 2017-2018, then he prepared a mental imagination scale and adopted a creative thinking scale and applied the two scales (after checking their validity) for them on the sample of gifted students who numbered (155) Student and student.
The research came out with a set of results, including.
1-Gifted students have the ability to mentally imagine.
2-There are no differences in the mental imagination of gifted students according to the gender variable (males-females).
3-There is a percentage of creative thinking among gifted students.
4-There are differences in the creative thinking of gifted students according to the gender variable (males - females) and in favor of females.
5-There is a relationship between mental imagination and creative thinking among gifted students.
In light of this, the researcher presented a number of recommendations and suggestions.
