Arabic Abstract

تهدف الدراسة الحالية إلى معالجة موضوع تقديم الذات في رواية سحر خليفة "مذكرات إمرأة غير واقعية، حيث أن الباحثة عمدت إلى تحليل الخطاب الروائي للكاتبة و التعبيرات الإشارية المستخدمة و التي إستخدمتها بطلتها عفاف " لتقديم الذات.

و قد إشتمل تصميم هذه الدراسة على المنهجين الوصفي الكمي و الكيفي، حيث تبدت الباحثة منهجية كلا من كارلوس فيلمور (1974م) جيفري ليفينسون (1983م) و اللادين إعتبرا أن الإشاريات الخطابية تتمثل في العلاقة توضيح بين اللغة و السياق، مصنفين التعبيرات الإشارية إلى الفئات التالية : الشخصية المكانية، الزمانية، الاجتماعية، الخطابية و العاطفية.

و كان للبرنامج الإحصائي دور في عملية التحليل الرقمي للرواية حيث إعتمدت الباحثة على البرنامج الإحصائي (SPSS).

و قد أظهرت كل من نتائج التحليل الكمي و الوصفي أن الروائية إستخدمت جميع أنواع التعبيرات الإشارية في الرواية مذكرات إمرأة غير واقعية للتقديم الصورة الكاملة للمرأة التي تعاني من التقاليد القديمة و من عدم مقدرتها على إثبات وجودها.

و وفقاً للتحليل الرقمي، فإن الروائية سحر خليفة وظفت الإشاريات بطريقة فذة لتقديم بطلة الرواية "عفاف" بإعتمادها على ضمير" الأنا.

فالنسبة المئوية العالية لكل من الإشاريات الشخصية (40.74%)، و الإجتماعية (%25.96)، و العاطفية (9624.61) يظهر أن الكاتبة ببراعة نجحت في تقديم صورة المرأة المضهدة، التي تعاني من خيبات متعددة و التي جعلت منها إمرأة تعاني من الإعتراب الذاتي و أزمة الهوية.

English Abstract

This study aims at addressing the issue of self-representation in Sahar Khalifeh's novel Muthakiratu Imra'atin Gheiru Waqeai’atin by applying a stylistic analysis focusing on the deictic expressions of the Arabic narrative discourse.

The stylistic analysis particularly sheds the light on how the protagonist of the novel employed the six types of deictic expressions to represent herself.

This study is conducted by using a descriptive, analytical, and numerical method.

The researcher relies on both models of Fillmore (1974) and Levinson (1983) who argued that deixis is the reflection of the relationship between language and context.

Deictic expressions fall into the following categories: person, spatial, temporal, social, discourse, and empathetic deixis.

The researcher used the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) to analyze the data numerically.

The result of this research showed that Khalifeh used the six types of deictic expressions in the selected novel to represent the exact image of a woman who is suffering from the old conventions and who is trying to prove her essence.

According to the numerical analysis, the writer deployed the deictic expressions through employing a unique approach in presenting the protagonist in which there is one dominant voice, the voice of the narrator.

The highest rates of person-pronouns (40.74%), social (25.96%), and empathetic deictic expression (24.61%) show that the writer ingeniously succeeded in presenting the image of a woman who exposed to several disillusionments that made her suffer from selfalienation and identity crisis.
