This study examines the future of online journalism within the framework of the emergence of journalistic artificial intelligence applications that have begun to enter media work through global media institutions in keeping with digitalisation that covers all aspects of life.

It also reviews and analyzes the most prominent applications of artificial intelligence in journalism to know the future ability of these applications to replace journalists or complement their roles, taking into account the strengths or weaknesses and the evolution of media institutions in the era of digitalisation.

Finally, it concludes with a forecast of the future of artificial intelligence applications in leading media institutions and Arab media institutions that operate in a different environment.
