This study calls for the reflection with McLuhan against McLuhanism in the era of digital media and a review of the foundations of McLuhan’s thought presented in his work.

It presents the reasons that led to the rediscovery of McLuhan in the contemporary era.

It also questions the claims of writers and researchers that are convinced that the changes in the media ecosystem are proof of the accuracy of McLuhan’s predictions.

Moreover, the study reveals McLuhan’s position in the Arab media lesson, which serves the development of media research in the Arab region.
