Abstract EN

Enhancing awareness of the components of Islamic culture is one of the main pillars of supporting higher education students in facing the various challenges that the current era is witnessing.

With a major shift towards digital learning, it is important to research how to develop educational environments in which awareness of Islamic culture can be enhanced.

Based on the potential of digital incentives such as points, badges, levels and leaderboards, the current research aimed to develop a proposed model for employing incentives platforms in promoting awareness of Islamic culture among some young people in the higher education stage.

A quasi-experimental approach was used to compare the first experimental groups that used incentives platforms and the second group that used the same platforms without any incentives.

The research sample consisted of (60) students at King Abdulaziz University, who were randomly assigned to the two research groups.

A test of awareness of Islamic culture has been developed, consisting of (30) items.

The results showed the advantage of the experimental group that used the incentives platforms compared to the second group that used the same platforms without any incentives in terms of developing awareness of Islamic culture.

The research highlighted the need to expand the use of incentives platforms in Islamic cultural courses, and training of faculty members in managing, using and employing platforms based on digital incentives.
