English Abstract

Renewable energy generation relies heavily on the use of an energy storage system, Flexibility inoperation reduces both the impact of intermittent power generation and operational expenditures.Fuel availability and pricing are the main issues with Jordan's energy, as most of the fuel needed to generate electricity namely, natural gas and oil which are imported where these may be replacedwith sustainable energy systems such as solar, wind, and biomass which makes an ideal solution to solve this issue.

Eventually, residential battery energy storage will become a widespread practice.

Battery technology might cut overall system demand while weakening the business strategies of incumbent utilities by allowing thousands of potential energy end-users to participatein the market as both providers and consumers.

Modern economies depend on the effective delivery of energy; if the technology is not properly integrated, this service will be considerably disrupted, as well as increasing operational complexity in Jordanian electrical markets.

In this study, the questionnaire survey and interviews aim to define Jordanian actual perspectives and attitudes towards the management and development of a residential solar energy storage system and its role in enhancement the saving time, effort, and cost.

Most questionnaire participants (85.3%) indicated that residential energy storage system has a key solution in the significance of management and development of demand and supply of renewable energy resources.

Similarly, Semi-structured interviews were conducted that the Jordan engineers and expertise encourage thatthe users should use residential energy storage systems to achieve the optimization of grid efficiency and reduce the need for overconsumption of traditional electricity resources.
