Abstract EN

The current study aims to identify the extent of applying re-engineering of managerial operations in terms of the change in organizational structure and the change in technology.

it also attempts to determine job performance of al-Wahda Islamic Bank in Benghazi city.

the main objective of the study was identifying the impact of managerial operations re-engineering with two above-mentioned aspects on job performance in al-Wahda bank.

the study adopted a descriptive method.

the researcher has designed a questionnaire based on certain previous studies.

the questionnaire was distributed among the study population that consists of 67 subjects, of which 57 ones were usable for statistical analysis.

the gathered data were analyzed via SPSS software.

the results of study indicated that the degree of applying managerial operations re-engineering in al-Wahda Islamic Bank was high.

also was the job performance.

results also revealed a significant impact of the two dimensions of managerial operations re-engineering on job performance.

the change in technology was the most influential dimension on job performance, followed by the change in the organizational structure.

the study rendered some recommendations that may uplift the level of awareness of Libyan banking personnel of re-engineering as a new concept in managerial work, as well as its impact on job performance.
