Arabic Abstract

• هدف الدراسة : هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى دراسة فعالية استخدام إستراتيجية (SOWM) في تطوير مهارات مهارتي الفهم القرائي و التحدث لدى طالبات الصف الثالث الأساسي بغزة.

• أدوات و مواد الدراسة : من أجل جمع البيانات قامت الباحثة بإعداد ثلاث أدوات : تصميم دليل المعلم القائم على تفعيل توظيف إستراتيجية (SOWM) تصميم اختبار قبلي و بعدي لمهارات الفهم القرائي و التحدث.

تصميم بطاقة ملاحظة لمهارة التحدث.

• عينة الدراسة : طبقت الدراسة على عينة ممثلة مكونة من (8241) طالبة من مدرسة حفصة بنت عمر الأساسية (أ) للبنات، و قد قسمت العينة الى مجموعتين متساويتين إحداها ضابطة تكونت من (41) طالبة درست بالطريقة الاعتيادية، و الأخرى تجريبية تكونت من (41) طالبة درست باستخدام إستراتيجية (SoWM) ، خلال الفصل الدراسي الثاني لعام (2020-2019).

• منهج الدراسة : التحقيق هدف الدراسة، استخدمت الباحثة المنهج التجريبي.

• نتائج الدراسة : خلصت نتائج الدراسة إلى وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطي درجات طالبات المجموعة التجريبية و المجموعة الضابطة في اختبار مهارات الفهم القرائي و التحدث لصالح المجموعة التجريبية، و يعزي هذا الفرق إلى استخدام إستراتيجية (SoWM).

• توصيات الدراسة : استنادا إلى النتائج، أوصت الباحثة كلا من : معلمي اللغة الإنجليزية : لاعتماد إستراتيجية (SOWM) في تدريس اللغة الإنجليزية بشكل عام و تدريس مهارتي الفهم القرائي و التحدث بشكل خاص في جميع المراحل التعليمية المختلفة.

معلمي المواد الدراسية الأخرى : استخدام إستراتيجية (SOWM) في تدريس جميع المراحل.

المشرفين و المختصين : بعقد دورات تدريبية للتدريب معلمي اللغة الإنجليزية على استخدام إستراتيجية (SOWM).

English Abstract

• Study Objective: This study aimed to study the effectiveness of using the (SOWM) strategy in developing reading comprehension and speaking skills for third-grade students in Gaza.

• Tools and instruments for the study: In order to collect data, the researcher prepared three tools: 1.

A teacher's guide based on activating employment (SOWM) strategy.

2.

A test for reading comprehension and speaking skills.

3.

An observation card for speaking skills.

• The study sample: The study was applied to a representative sample consisting of (82) female students from Hafsa Bent Omar Basic School (A) for girls, and the sample was divided into two equal groups, one of which was composed of (41) female students who studied by the regular way, and the other experimental consisted of (41) A student studied using( SOWM) strategy during the second semester of (2019-2020).

• Results of the study: The study results concluded that there are statistically significant differences between the mean scores of students of the experimental group and the control group in reading comprehension skills and speaking for the benefit of the experimental group, and this difference is attributed to the use of the (SOWM) strategy.

• Study recommendations: 1.

Based on the results, the researcher recommended the following: English language teachers to adopt a (SOWM) strategy in teaching English in general, teaching reading comprehension skills, and speaking in particular at all different educational levels.

2.

Teachers of other subjects, using the (SOWM) strategy to teach all levels.

3.

Supervisors and specialists conduct training courses to train English language teachers to use the (SOWM) strategy.
