Arabic Abstract
هدف الدراسة : هدفت الرسالة للتحقق من فاعلية برنامج مقترح القائم على مهارات القرن الحادي و العشرين في تنمية مهارات التفكير التأملي و مهارات الفهم القرائي في اللغة الانجليزية للصف السادس في قطاع غزة.
منهج الدراسة : للتحقق من هدف الدراسة اعتمدت الباحثة المنهج الشبه الـتجريبي.
عينة الدراسة : اختارت الباحثة عينة الدراسة من طالبات الصف السادس اثنين من ثلاثة فصول في المدرسة و وظفت عينة من 72 طالبة في الصف السادس في مدرسة عمواس شمال غزة هما عينة تجريبية وعينة ضابطة تم استخدمت الطريقة التقليدية في المجموعة الضابطة بينما تم تدريس بعض من مهارات القرن الحادي والعشرين للمجموعة التجريبية في الفصل الدراسي الثاني في العام (2019).
أدوات الدراسة : اختبار تحصيلي لمهارتي التفكير التأملي والفهم القرائي.
الاساليب الاحصائية : - اختبارت للعينة المستقلة - اختبار ت للعينة المزدوجة - معامل ارتباط بيرسون - التجزئة النصفية و معامل كرديتشارسون - معادلة جثمان - معامل ايتا أهم النتائج التي توصلت إليها الدراسة : أوضحت النتائج وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في الدرجات المتوسطة للمجموعة التجريبية و تلك الخاصة بالمجموعتين الضابطة في الاختبارين التفكير التأملي و الفهم القرائي لصالح المجموعة التجريبية.
English Abstract
The Study aim: This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of a suggested program based on skills of the 21st century on developing reflective thinking and English reading comprehension skills for sixth graders in Gaza strip.
Approach: To achieve the aims of the study, the research adopted the semi experimental approach and conduct an experiment on two groups; experimental and control group.
Sample: The sample of the study consisted of 72 sixth graders in Amwas primary school.
They were distributed equally in two classes; thirty six students were assigned as an experimental group who received the intervention program activities and 36 students as a control group who was taught in the traditional method.
Tools: To answer the questions of the study the researcher collected data using the three tools: 1) A checklist for reflective thinking skills 2) Checklist for reading comprehension skills 3) reflective thinking and reading comprehension test.
The researcher used the following statistical treatment 1.

Pearson correlation 4.
Split-half and KR20 techniques 5.
Guttmann formula.

Eta square and d 'Cohen' to assess the effect size.
Findings The finding indicated that there were significant differences in the mean scores of experimental group and that of control group in the post tests of reflective thinking and reading comprehension in favor the experimental group and that there were significant differences in the mean scores of experimental group' pre and posttest in favor of the post test.
