English Abstract

Aim of the Study : The study aims at investigating the effect of employing educational games on developing linguistic patterns among fourth-grade female students.

Instrumentation: Linguistic Patterns Test.

Sample : This study was conducted on (N=47) 4th female graders selected from Ain al-Hilweh Primary School.

Methodology: The researcher adopted the experimental approach based on designing the equivalent groups as it suits the purpose of the study.

Results: There are statistically significant differences at (a = 0.01) in the total mean scores of the experimental group female students and the control group in the linguistic patterns post-test? Recommendations: 1- Employing modern theories, with their various ways and means, in teaching educational patterns for primary school students.

2- Increasing the number of classes specified for linguistic patterns branch because they are the cornerstone of learning grammar in higher grades.

3- Enhancing the creative digital teacher program with a set of electronic games that serve the linguistic patterns.

4- Training student teachers on using active and effective educational strategies in teaching the Arabic language during the field training period.
