The engravers created various artistic themes on the rock walls of Tassili n’Immidir, close to the art of Tassili n’Ajjer, their different themes are linked to their multiple affiliations to different schools, the walls differ by the structure of supporting supports, themes, styles and techniques during the passage of the stages of time before and during to post-Neolithic, the researchers are based on the criteria of its artistic and cultural characteristics to establish its chronology, while the sites have made it possible to determine their geographical distribution.

the art of Immidir consists of representations of various natures of the human, animal and cultural material, preserving the conventional traditions which are part of the definition of the schools, the similarities between the engraving schools of Immidir and those of Tassili n'Ajjer and those found in other regions of the Sahara, were confirmed by the abundant presence of the Tazina school, and an important presence of the warrior school and the lesser at the Wa-n-Amil school, these which suggest a state of overlap between the regions of the Sahara.
