Abstract EN

This study deals with the most important internal structures of the roman Tamuda camp in Mauritania Tingitana, it is related to the command center (principia), as it is one of the few buildings that have been carefully revealed by archaeological research with great care due to its prominent effects.

we focused on the internal planning of this main building, and the architectural elements that make up it, as well as identifying the stages through which its construction and date of its establishment passed.

we also tried to address the most important reforms and changes that occurred to it over five centuries, in addition to the techniques used in its construction during different periods.
