Abstract EN

Procreation is one of the basic axes for the existence and continuity of human societies.

It is (procreation) a biological process, but it is linked to human beings with sociocultural and economic dimensions and ideological affiliations.

This study aims to make a comparison between the ways and mechanisms controlling the reproductive process as a social culture in the Algerian family between an ideological (Islamic) premise and what is imposed by the requirements of globalization, by relying on both the descriptive, analytical and comparative approach (description, analysis and comparison of the variables and indicators controlling the phenomenon), which we reached Through it, the need for a conciliatory approach that must be adopted in the process of childbearing as a sociocultural behavior in line with what globalization requires, provided that the latter does not conflict with the limits set by Islamic law on this aspect.
